“I think people who are more experienced, who are older know that there's high risk, high reward in a job like that," said Lisa Jacobson, who works with students applying to colleges and graduate programs through her 25-year-old tutoring program, Inspirica. "But I think for students, they've never seen the risky side of it, so it's just all appealing, it seems like the only way it can go is up.”
