Introducing Inspirica

Admissions Support

As grades and test scores have risen and competition has increased over the last several years, some of the elements of the admissions process that seemed less crucial have now gained in importance. Inspirica helps families with these components as well as with test preparation, knowing that every part of the process can be critical in moving students from the "maybe" pile into the "yes" pile.

The Essay

For colleges looking to see someone clearly, there's no tool like the essay. For high school students unsure of how to present themselves, writing a convincing, authentic essay can be a real challenge. With more than twenty years of helping to craft essays, we are there to advise. Many parents have appreciated our involvement at this stage of the admissions process both to aid in the development of a strong essay and to set deadlines to help the student get it done on time!

The Interview

An interview can be a crucial piece in the admissions puzzle. We explain the three different types of interviews and conduct practice interviews with students. We ensure that the students will be comfortable with the setting, that they will learn to connect with the interviewer, and that they will be able to present themselves with confidence.

Testing and Admissions Seminars

Inspirica CEO Lisa Jacobson and Master Tutor Donald Viscardi conduct seminars to help families navigate the testing side of the admissions process. These sessions educate, elucidate, and take the mystery÷and the stress÷out of a critical time in a parent and child's life.
